Living alongside someone else's drinking or addiction takes its own toll. Al-Anon Family Groups exist for exactly this — a fellowship for people affected by someone else's alcoholism, with its own Twelve Steps focused on your own peace and recovery, not on fixing anyone else.

A note on this page: New Way to Live is built around the Big Book and AA's steps. We're still building out dedicated support for family members and loved ones affected by someone else's addiction. For now, we want to point you toward Al-Anon directly rather than offer something incomplete. More is coming.
