Step One, Alcoholics Anonymous
Sit with this
There's a specific moment a lot of us remember. Standing in a kitchen, or sitting in a car in a parking lot, finally saying it out loud to someone — or just to ourselves — after years of saying the opposite. Not "I have a problem."
Just: I can't do this anymore. That's it. That's the whole step, really.
Not a diagnosis. A surrender.
Today’s prayer
Give us the guts to say it plainly today, if we haven't yet.
